Not if it cross-pollinates in your garden, but purchased seed strains should come true. My yellow plant's seedlings were a mix of white and pinks this year.

I grew a mini pom pom type this year. It was one of my favorites. I can't remember the name. I got it from Old House Gardens. I will look to see if I took any pictures.

I'm going to try some of its seeds next year. I'm hoping they crossed with the Kharma Sangria; it might be a neat new plant.

Here’s an orchid type dahlia that is similar…

However, the other dahlias posted are probably cactus.
