My sister's stepson, Tracy, died in 2008, and her daughter, Crystal, died in 2010. I am looking for any one or all of these iris to place in a memorial bed for them.

My niece's name was Crystal Lynn and there is one named Crystalyn, which is close enough for me. Got that along with the Crystal Fountain and Tracy's Sunshine.

...now I will go hunting for plants with Beer or Harley in the name. Tracy liked beer so much, his dad put a can of it in the coffin with him. I only drink it every six or seven years, and still have an 8 ounce can of Miller in the fridge (that's been in place for three years ) so I might just put it beside the Iris.

Memorial bed from day before yesterday, and from this morning. The three named iris seem to be doing okay given the fact that a tree top overburdened with ice fell on them. Had a slew of grass plugs to pull out. Got most and the others should be easy enough to spot as they get large enough to provide a decent grip. Tracy's Sunshine is ringed by St. Keverne's daffodils and difficult to see in the broader view. Arlyn, Bettern Beer looks to have been hybridized by Tom Burseen. Going to contact him this coming week to see if he can sell me or tell where to find a rhizome of that one. He only lives 35 or so miles from my house, which was fun to find out.

I'll have some Crystal Bright for you,for sure this year. And maybe some more, if they do well. That is neat that he's so close !...Arlyn

Debra, I have a Clematis who's name is Crystal Fountain! It's cool, I tried to find my picture for you, but can't locate it. I'm sure it's in the data base.
