Thread OP

I want to plant my 3 foot plumeria s around a coconut palm tree. The palm tree is tall. I'm concerned about the roots. How far apart should I plant them from my palm tree?

Thanks,
S

Welcome! Scotty 13 - if I were you I would be more concerned about Coconut impact! Plumeria branches snap easily. That would be a shame. If you want to let your plumeria tree grow big (I don't know what part of the world you live in) then I would plant it at least 6 and preferably more like 8 ft. away from the Coconut Palm.

I live in S. Florida. That's true about the branches snapping off easily. I figured about 6-8 feet from the truck of the palm tree. Thanks for your advice. It’s much appreciated.
