I've already posted some of these photos in the Blue Gardens cubit, but we don't all frequent the same cubits, so I'll feel free to post them here too.

I have to say at the outset that I'm cheating a little. These photos only show a few parts of my garden, but those ubiquitous garden hoses keep sneaking into all of my photos, so I'll have to post pictures of the other parts when they're in bloom this year and I'll have to remember to get those hoses out of the way before I shoot.

These photos were all taken in April and May. At this time of year, my garden just looks like thousands of pruned sticks, with no lovely snow cover to obscure the monotony.

There really are garden paths between the flower beds, but they're hard to see in May.

Look: a visible pathway. It leads to a big pond.

Now back to the cluttered look.

Smarty, the rose on the left side of this arbor is supposed to be a ground cover. Hah!

This is one of the Banksia roses. There are three of these in my garden and they really get huge.

Something tropical to relieve the overabundance of pastel shades.

Back to the pastels:

You're probably ready for that cup of coffee now, and there's one of those garden hoses, but it's in a fairly discreet location.

Your garden has long been one of my favorites zuzu. I have always loved your photos with cats in them. Gardens and cats just go together so well. Your roses are fantastic. Veilchenblau rose is one I'm going to look up. Great color. I also like the trellis along the top of your fence in the first photo. I know what you mean about the hoses always having to get in the photo. Thanks for the tour.

How time flies... I meant to post some cats in the landscape three days ago.

This is the slope between my garden and the street, with Ambrosia sitting on the fence. The fence was designed with the cats in mind. The middle section is big enough for them to sit and watch the neighbors go by and small enough to keep dogs and other predators from chasing the cats into the garden.
