Beautiful lilies! I planted my first lilies this past year. I can't wait to see how they do this season!
Your vibrant blue pot... do you plant something in there or use it as a stand for something...? I could just envision a gazing ball resting on the top!
I'll end the garden tour with a section of my large front bed. It is kind of L shaped so hard to photograph all at once. Some sections look better at different times than others. Join me again with coffee mug in hand and we'll stoll around the yard and check out this summer's beds.

I will be joining you now and then Indy. Wonderful pictures. I might switch from David to Mount Fuji after seeing that amazing display. Thanks so much for sharing with us.
Thank you! So do I. I was trying to get one to die. Clipped it off last year but looks like it is determined. Now I want to keep it since it is one of the plants of the year for 2010.
Last year I had lots of seedlings and pulled them up. Cmail me this summer if you would like one. I could send it if they reseed this year.

You know the saying about perennials First they sleep then they creep and then they leap. Good luck! You should get bloom this year and then next year they should be better. I have had mine a few years so don't remember exactly.

LOVE love love it! I love the look of those perennial bed that sort of 'hug' the lawns, out in the middle of the sunshine. Things like that just struggle along in my area. My favorite is those beautiful tall iris, against the backdrop of the pale green field. That is just lovely! And the iris look so strong. I know that doesn't mean much to you, probably you take that for granted. But I really have to baby my iris because of all the trees. I love them, but sometimes they do not do well for me for very many years.
I would love to see a close photo of your arbor. What is growing on that?
You're right in that we all have different situations we have to deal with and we do take our own for granted. But isn't it fun to see all the variety in this wonderful land we call home. On my arbor (which DH and I constructed out of old landscaping timbers) I have a New Dawn rose and a jackmanni clem on one side and a porcelain berry vine on the other. I also have a Etoille Violette clem that I need to get a picture of this year. As I said I really need to hone my photography skills.
