Debra, no i didnt make them. If I was 20 years younger yup I would do it. The smoother ones are tufa the others are cement except for the red troth, a purchase from TARGET 10 years ago.

Sempervivum love winter and need snow cover and cold temps.That's why I gave away all the echeverias ( about 3 )

I just meant keeping them from year to year since they are in containers. I have a few semps in the ground, but things in containers generally don't survive through the winter here.
They are really nice. I love the variety you have.

Old gardeners never die. They are just pruned and repotted.
Jeanie, I loose ground planted semps to rabbits and deer.
I also loose a few semps in pots.
I have only been growing semps for 3 years.
I use an extremely porous mix.that doesn't stay damp long.
I buy "rock garden soil " and ad 1/4 th potting soil.
