Love the generalized Northeast Badge, but would also like to see all states in the region with their own badge (Vermont already has one) couldn't we get the others as well?

Yes, we have many of the states represented but not all of them. One of these days I need to just sit down and make all of them...

bumping this back up as a reminder that Dave said he would eventually get around to this at some point.

If it is any help at all, @Dave...I've got a badge put together for New Hampshire...shows our flag...

It should compress down to 32x32 without any trouble.

I always kind of wonder at using state flags as badges. Unless one is from that state, who would recognize them? I suppose for those who do it may be nice. The state badges that use a symbol (the Georgia peach for example) resonate more with me and feel more garden-y. Idaho could be a spud, Washington an apple, Iowa corn, etc.

According to bonehead's train of thought, I guess Illinois would have to be a soybean! (LOL)...

Dave or Trish, Could you please add a Keystone badge for Pennsylvania. It has not only been our nick name but our icon for at least as long as I remember. Thank, Ric

Here is a pic of the colors most associated with the state. Blue and yellow. Just a few suggestions I am sure you will come up with something great for us. Thanks Holly

The Keystone State
Though the nickname's origin is unknown, it's certain that it was in use around, or shortly after, 1800. It's reported that Pennsylvania was toasted as "...the keystone of the federal union" at a Republican presidential victory rally for Thomas Jefferson in 1802. Regardless of its origin, the nickname has come to represent Pennsylvania's geographic, economic, social and political impact on development of the United States.

Thank You Dave and eclayne, the blue and yellow really make a statement. Part of the history of the keystone is that so many roads and railheads meet here, as well as it is the start of the Cumberland Valley running through Appalachia down to Tennessee and Georgia.
