Plant Marigolds as  an Ant Deterrent

Do you struggle with sugar ants in the house? Line your walkway with marigolds. Also, when you deadhead the marigolds, crush the spent flowers along the outside of your window sills. Works great as a natural deterrent on ants of all sizes.

Great tip and now I love them even more! I like having orange and yellow as a pop of color.. I love them growing near my vegetables and near the doorway with Arabella clematis growing through (can't find a pic of that)
