Can you tell me if there is a book that teaches you how to recognize seeds, how to collect seeds, how to clean seeds, how to store seeds, pictures of seeds and seedpods, longevity of seeds, sowing seeds, etc.
If there is a book that is helpfull, please tell me the title and author.
If you can’t find a book about seeds, please tell me what you want to learn about seeds.

All of the above! I've certainly gotten to a point where I recognize seed that I work with a lot and also keep records on longevity when it comes to germination as well as the taxonomy such structure pertaining to seed coat thickness, breaking dormancy etc. The main problem with longevity is how they are stored.

I have never come across a single place or found a single book that addresses everything .. it's always piecemeal. If you are planning to write one, please sign me up (and I'll be hoping for an autographed copy).

It doesn't cover everything, but "Park's Success With Seeds' has a lot of information I've not found in others books. It even shows seedling photos which can be so helpful. It's out of print but you can still find used copies at Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0006CYX8M/

Jonna--SVEIKS!!!

This link shows you what seeds and seedlings of a lot of plants look like.
You can search for a plant by the alphabet list at the bottom.
It also has comments on how to grow. Hope this helps you some.

I have had this saved for a long time. Hope it still works....

I think a book showing what the seedlings look like would be really helpful. I know I have often times pulled up my seedlings before realizing what they are. So many weeds and the seedlings are so tiny and often look NOTHING like I expect!
