I thought it was weird that I already had the Master Level Garden Ideas.. and then it "awarded" me the Level 1. Blinking I'd figured that since I already had the green one that it wouldn't basically double it.

What we need is a badge with a dandelion or a bottle of RoundUp or something to impress how well we can grow weeds... Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Thank to whomever was responsible for awarding me the lightbulb badge. Was this an act of one or was this a conspiracy? Well, again, thanks to you or to all of you! Smiling

An unexpected side effect! But you're right, already twice now I've noticed the badge and clicked on their profile to see what ideas they have previously submitted.

@dave I received and upgrade to level 2, but I have not submitted any new ideas. Are there other factors that contribute to the status or was this a glitch when you made adjustments?

I recently altered the algorithm that decides when the ideas badges are awarded and that means a LOT of people got added as level 1 and quite a few got upgraded.

My theory is that all successful gardeners have cubic yards of knowledge and habits that us beginners and less-successful gardeners would consider The Wisdom Of The Ages if someone explained them to us in ways we can understand.

But those who know how, often don't even realize the value of what they know. They just do right things by habit, "of course", because they always do that. I guess they think that "everyone knows how to do that".

>> I never have any great garden ideas so I guess I will stay at level one for a very long time.

I look at your veggies and KNOW that you have many great garden ideas. In fact, I remember these two coming from you in forums (not the "Idea" area).

- peas in pots (with photos top prove it works).
- heat lovers on driveways

Rick after I said that about not having ideas I realized I do have ideas and submitted 5 so we will see. One of them is the grow peas in pots idea.

Great!

One thing I found was that ideas with photos are more likely to be approved than ideas with no photos.

I don't know if we can go back later to our old ideas, to edit them or add photos.
