I sent them to the editors for review. I have no idea who that actually is. Whether it is Dave or if there is an ideas editor. Still working on the others.

>> I'm really looking forward to your ideas, Rita!

I agree

I went looking for a sneak peek, but I don't think we can see the "Idea" moderation queue. We can only see our own "Idea" workspace.

That reminded me that I have several rejected potential "Ideas" still waiting for me to take some pictures. Nothing earth-shaking, but I remember when I didn't know them. They might have some value for anyone else that ignorant.

I'm sure you have tons of ideas that I personally have never thought of. Rita. I love the Ideas section! Often the simplest solutions get by me through over-thinking. I post Ideas because what I consider a simple habit, I think maybe someone hasn't thought to do it. Most my ideas are as simple as my mind. Rolling on the floor laughing

No you can't see the ones I am working on and you can't see the ones I already submitted until they are published if they are accepted.

I agree

Simple, practical ideas are always the LAST thing to come into my mind.

First I have to exhaust every imaginable Rube Goldberg, cock-a-maimy, whack-a-doodle notion that a science-fiction fan would roll his eyes at.

how can you see what your own ideas are? I've got some that are published, but I know I have quite a few that are outstanding, if they're gonna be used.

How about don't letting seeds sit all winter, actually get them planted in the winter, keeping them in a closet or something with a light on a timer, so that in the spring, you're ready to plant?

You kind of got lost in the conversation & never got an answer to this. Sorry. Your light bulb badge was awarded by the systems program due to your submitting & having published a certain # of gardening tips or ideas. So ultimately you can than Dave & Trish. Green Grin!

Rita- I edit and publish the ideas, so you can always ask me whenever you have a question Smiling

I try to publish ideas when they are most relevant to the most people. I'm thrilled to have ideas on veggi gardening, but I likely won't publish them until next year. There are over 300 ideas in the queue (most without pictures, though), and I try to cycle through them based on timing, relevancy, and contributor (minus plant weeks, I try not to feature the same contributor more than once per week). Sometimes it is just luck of the draw what gets put when. Green Grin!

At first I had no idea how the garden ideas submitted actually worked but now I think I have it more figured out. Now I realize that veggie gardening ideas would most likely publish in spring, in time for planting or during Veggie Gardening week. I think I am getting better with my ideas submitted and I have a lot of ideas in the working stages. That way I can go back and keep adding the appropriate pictures. But I think ideas have been fun to do. At least they were fun for me.

How does one add pictures and improve on an idea already submitted that is just sitting there waiting for approval?

At the moment, you have to ask Trish or me to send it back to your "in progress" queue where you can edit it again. I have been planning for a very long time a better system but so far I haven't made progress. It's a high priority for me, though, to make the ideas system redone in a way that gives much more control to the submitters.

Thumbs up Dave, that would be great. I have since found lots more pictures I would love to add to one of my submitted ideas.
