I am an artist and have made many things for the garden when I sculpted in clay.
I paint now and buy sculpture from others.
This is my collection at present.
This is a sculpture that I made for a invitational show here.
It sat over my mothers ashes for 3 years before I moved.

I designed this fountain area with the Basalt column featured with the JM Spring Delight
There is a piece of sculpture from GF in the area.

Moving along the path.
This is a clay sculpture .I bring it inside for the winter
This was made by a local woman whose work I love.
The goldfinches against the pale aqua bowl are a sight to behold. I never seem to have a camera when I need it.

This is a piece from the same woman who did the bath.

Now we come to the carved bear.
Back story: I share a house with my SIL and DD.
He gave her this bear for crismis 2 years ago.We had just taken down a dead pine so the stump was a logical place for it.
Its not fineart but she grows on you. I planted annual poppies around her.

Another sculpture for the DayLily garden. Same woman.
She said it looked like someone waiting for the party to begin.

I plan to add this to the garden this year.Bird house I made from clay and twigs. GF let me play in her studio.
It will hang against the RiverBirch in the front yard.

This piece is clay and was part of the invitational where the Spirit house went.
Its in my livingroom with cat toys in it but will come to the garden or deck this summer.

Made this amonth ago.Glued glass tiles to PVC and fused plastic for a decorative top .Abstract form of plant stuff,pods ,roots,bloomblast top.

Jo Ann, thank you for posting this! With your birdhouses, you have managed to capture a unique combination of two of the "hottest" trends in birdhouses right now... clay and birch. I have catalogs from two of the most unique vendors. One is offering clay or glass mosaic birdhouses. The other is offering glass or birch branch birdhouses. Both are quite expensive even at wholesale prices.

If you are ever looking to market your birdhouses, you are very welcome to post about them here in the Cubit. We've got a forum about favorite vendors where you can put a summary about what you offer in the Garden Art thread.

Of course, we appreciate you posting the photos here... so much to dream of for my own garden! =)

If only I had started this 10 years ago when I was stronger and had most of my witts.
I am honored you thought of me but alas I no longer have a clay studio and was allowed to use GF's studio because I wanted to make a funkie bird house for this property.
She is a full time studio artist so I didnt want to take up any more room in her studio than was necessary.
I would love to see what the links look like tho.
