I think many people had good ideas, but to be a "thing", either a few people have to volunteer to do a lot of work, or several/many people would have to agree on a few things.

Thanks for the kind words regarding my avatar, I got the pic via email from a friend.
She stated that she got it someplace on the internet, it's located in MI.
I love it, it's very beautiful.

The seed give away to new members sounds like a great idea too bad it didn't take off.
Be fun to do it if I didn't work FT and was on call.
It's sad when "real life" gets in the way of our online fun time but we've got to be making that cha-ching.
Our community does a plant/seed exchange every Spring, I make sure I've sowed the seeds that I want to keep b/4 it takes place.

I've been meaning to start many extra seedlings and give them away, but last year I didn't even start my own spring crops. Oh, well, it's better to have a job than not to have one (better yet not to NEED one!)
