The flowers on the first remind me of lupine...which growes wild for me here in the Florida panhandle. Where is Molino??? I can not find my way out of a wet paper bag Green Grin! Green Grin! Whistling

Good Monday morning everyone! I hope everyone has a safe and happy labor day!

Since Ginger mentioned Lupine as your first plant I found that Florida does indeed have a native Lupine:

There is one photo of L. diffusus in the ATP Database: Sky-blue Lupine (Lupinus diffusus)

It's hard to tell from the photos, but to me the leaves of the plants in question look mostly brown/dead so it makes me think that those are silvery seed pods rather than flowers.

Here is a site that has some photos of the Lupinus diffusus seed pods:
http://www.fnps.org/plants/pla...

The seed pods in the fnps.org site photos are still greener than the ones in your photos, but it seems like it may be a good contender for the id on these....
Hopefully, someone that knows for sure will check in here.
Smiling
