I'm really not good at going back and forth comparing photo's, LOL I need them side by side; my first thought was maybe Swamp Thistle:

but I think Canada Thistle grows in that part of the country too:

Need to see the leaves more clearly to be certain, but it's probably Field Thistle (Cirsium discolor).
