We must have had some bad weather and strong rains overnight. Not that I noticed! I was sleeping! Hilarious! But lots of leaves and messes in the garden this morning. Things blown over.

Another inch of rain today. Very heavy downfall which caught us coming home from food shopping. Followed a school bus for awhile, better than being caught with high school drivers coming out of the lot.

I just had to come here to check on y'all. Too many storms and fires, I was worried about you.
And Allison, wasn't it just last year when you had snow for Halloween? Something?

I believe I'll just stay down here and dodge tornadoes and swelter in the humidity, though today is one of those gorgeous clear blue sky days with not a drop of humidity anywhere around.

Wishing y'all some calm and lovely weather for fall. Group hug

Closed the greenhouse hoping it will stay in the 60s in there tonight if I got some heat in there early by the sun.
I will move plants into the GH tomorrow. It is to be below 60 all next week at night and the jasmine will not like that.
It was too windy to scrub pots today so I did laundry. Rolling on the floor laughing

Hi Lucy!
Guess that means I need to bring my jasmine in soon, right Jacquie? And then maybe it will bloom again? Remember, I'm a new jasmine grower. Smiling

This is a beautiful day and must get some plants moved into the greenhouse. Temps are getting too low for me to feel too secure with some of these tropicals. Hurray! Dinner tonight at Charlie's Other Brother. My night out with kids.

It was a miserable day I thought. I had plants to ship and as I was unloading them at the post office the rain came down. Drat that rain. We need it but not at that time. I stayed in most of the day to catch up on paperwork.
We got the GH in order and the deck plants inside with the exception of the big orchid cactus and I am not sure if I will bring that in tomorrow or not. It is so darn big but I love it. Anyhow, I just closed up the GH tonight, no heaters on yet, but they keep saying there is cold weather coming. I doubt it since I am so close to the ocean that we will have much real cold weather for the nest few weeks. We will see. I am about 25 miles from the ocean, not really on top of it but it is amazing how much it does affect our weather. I can even smell it on some days when the wind is blowing from the East.

Time to eat. Hugs and stay warm all you up North people.

I am very close to Long Island Sound here and I know it really affects our weather to be so close to the water.
