I'm going to get a Beautyberry and wanted some idea about which varieties are the best. This one called 'Purple Pearls' has a purple tint in the foliage which would be a plus to me. Any tips about which of these are the best would be greatly appreciated.

Is that a native? That site doesn't have the botanical name of the plant they're selling.

I love mine because it does not need a pollinator. I read that it is self pollinating. I'm sure I only have one and I am sure it is full of berries so it must be true.
This pic is from last year, the berries I have now are not ripe yet so not as purple as what you see.
