Due to moving almost my entire collection last month, many plants were allowed to flower. I normally try to remove blooms from them as I do not want to deal with unknowns growing in the pots, nor do I especially like the appearance of the aging blooms.

However, it looks like I will have some seeds available this year. I do not intend to harvest, clean and verify seeds. But i can collect maturing seed stalks and stick them in a labeled paper bag. The label would correspond to the seed parent as all of these would be open pollinated, one bag per variety of seed parent.

Is anybody interested in some of these labeled seed stalks? I think many would be heuffelii. If so, not sure how I would proceed, so am open to suggestions. I would expect compensation for the shipping though.

I was thinking more of packing up a small box of these and sending them off, rather than smaller quantities. Don't know postage to UK but could probably find out.

Sounds good, please let me know if you manage to find out how much the postage would be. As long as it's not really expensive I'd be very interested. Thumbs up

I'd be interested, and happy to pay postage. I've never grown semps from seed before, it would be an interesting experiment for me Smiling
