Adding a "Mark as solved" functionality might not be a bad idea.

Doesn't the original poster have a spot that asks if the thread is done? If I'm not mistaken there is a thread option for the thread to be closed.

Yeah, there is…jvdubb…Go back up to the top of the thread and click your thread option, just above your posting. It should say…Close the thread.

Hmmm...I guess another way to stop getting e-mail notifications after the fact would be to just "unwatch" the thread, right? Although I sometimes feel that if I start a thread I shouldn't *abandon* it.

It would be neat if the system could change the question mark icon to some kind of a Happy Camper icon once the OP is answered satisfactorily. Maybe the big grin smiley? Or the thumbs-up?

The thread could be moved by @dave to the Plant ID Forum, where it could be marked "done."
