I wonder if I can grow them here with our cool summer nights, they are so pretty I would like to, opinions anyone??? Shrug!

Margret, I sometimes have them self sow. Really easy to grow. Most seed packages say to surface sow an d then cover to germinate in darkness. I find it most successfully to just sow and cover with soil ( about 1/4 inch)
