I am from Michigan too, Clinton Township--eastside! Do you get to Hidden Lake Gardens much?

My friend Jean taught me a great trick that last and lasts. Cut old plastic venetian blinds into strips and write on them with indelible marker!

I am a cheapskate, so I write on plastic knives with a permanent marker. I can buy them for $3.50 or so for a pack of 100.

I've used knives but the writing wears off before the summer is over.

I have found that the Sharpie INDUSTRIAL super permanent markers last much longer.

I use Aluminium pop cans. I have a Sizzix machine(scrapbooking) and a tag die,so I cut tags forrom the pop cans and use a wax marker. I'll take a picture to sow what they are and post tomorrow. Karen
