The Black Fire has bloomed before this season-twice. Suddenly all the flower bud sets turned black have fallen off at the stem. I did move it where it gets more sun 12 feet away from where it was. Has great drainage to handle the few rain showers we've had. What's up??

Cheryl, I think it may be due to the bit of wet weather we've had in Houston the past two weeks. I've noticed if some of my adeniums get to much water they well drop buds like mad. A couple of mine were coming back into bloom and just did the same thing.

Thanks, Dikotomy. I thought about them a few times during the rain. I wasn't home. Crying I should have covered them, I guess. 30% chance next week. I will get them out of the rain.

I keep losing flower buds. We are going through some weather changes. I give my DR's as much sun as possible and keep it out of the rain. I have more leaf loss but some new growth. It's confused. I guess the season is over for me and it wants to go dormant even at 80*.
