I've had this for awhile and still don't know who it is - I'd like an ID on it for a label .. if anyone want's it for postage it's yours .. will probably fit in a large flat rate box with a little trimming. Otherwise it's going to the Plant Swap next weekend. I'm letting go of plants that hurt.
Thanks!

hmm ... If it has teeth along the leaf margins, maybe Neoregelia (at least I think the Neo's are the ones with teeth) but I don't know for certain ... sure is pretty and I know what you mean about plants that hurt!

Looks almost like it except for the leaves on mine are narrower and um more to the point! Whereas your leaves are fatter and rounder. Gettin close though unless Neoregelia can go either way.
My COL* skin is being treated quite badly by these "teethed" plants. My arms and legs are forever bushing up against them no matter how careful I am!

How cool is that! It's an awesome one .. usually well over 100 people and thousands of plants as well as garden stuff like pots & tools. Here is a link to the info
I don't stay for the picnic. That would be awesome if you came!

Thanks for the link. I will make every effort to be there.
Our local swap is hosted by Jane Fishman - see Savannah Plant Swap Facebook. Should be the first Saturday in October, but occasionally the date gets switched to accommodate whoever.
