We have been dry here lately but the brugs keep on trying as long as I can keep them watered. It is so sad to see them droop.
Seems we all like the cooler weather....

Yes and me too. No dragging the hose watering....that gets bad after awhile....

Wow, Monster looks amazing with all those flowers and hardly any leaves! Cold weather?

My Monsters are the opposite, lots of leaves and no flowers, as the bamboo stand needs to be trimmed back to give them some more sun.

Whenever we get a freeze, then it warms up, it seems the get busy trying to replace the frozen leaves with new ones..
this is my Double peach NH, see the tiny leaves coming back out??

Now back to brugs.
I love my brugs and have been sort of bad about the ones I get in the mail. Most are wrapped in papertowels, which I love. I just put them into a jar of water and some of them already have roots. Now I need to pot them up. they are amazing plants.
I had one I pulled up last spring, I thought it was dead, I took it to a place down by the pasture and tossed it there. I went down there and dog gone if it had grown a pretty stem. I think it may have had a bloom on it but it got broken but I did throw some leaves on it. A Brug experiment to see if it will come back next spring. Want to toss some more leaves on it to be sure too.

Rhapsody

Well, the freeze came in. So sad!!! The first day early in the morning the leaves were frozen but still perky. By that afternoon it had gotten Warm enough to thaw. Now I have droopy leaves and blooms. Poor plants. but I did get cuttings and they are here in my house, where they will be until spring or given away. I am getting to many different brugs from friends and I love it. I may have to till up the dog pen to plant them all. Better not Dufess wouldn't like that....
