You got me so interested in these banners, and I stayed up way past my bedtime last night working on a few to submit! I love them, and you always make such beautiful ones!

Too late! I'm addicted!!! It's so funny how I'm just positive that a picture will make a great banner, and after 2 hours, it's still NOT a good banner! I had a lot of fun playing last night though, and you were my inspiration!

Just keep working at it, you will get it right after awhile.

One was really bugging me, and I rotated the picture, and it turned out better than expected! But, it doesn't look good like I thought it would! Just better! I'm really having fun with this, even if I don't submit them.

What does it mean when it says they are approved? I have one that shows approved for a certain date, and the rest just have approved. All of the ones that just say approved were submitted last night. I'm sure that the one with the date must be one that will be use, which is pretty cool, but maybe I'm wrong about that?

That means they are approved for eventual use as a banner but haven't been assigned a date yet. It won't be until next year most likely as banners are already slotted through the end of the year. There are over 800, well actually that number includes past banners, there are some real active banner makers!
Most important think I think is make sure the images are in focus, blurry just won't do because the banners are prominent for 24 hours at the very top of the page.

Thanks Sue. I've think I've got one that will be posted this month then! Hopefully, if any others get picked, it won't be next month, as we'll be gone for part of the month. I don't want to miss my 15 seconds of fame!

I'm working on making sure that things are in focus. I have some pictures that looked really clear until I saw them at their actual size! Yikes! Blurry as could be! Or I need glasses. Not sure yet which is more accurate. I'm really having fun though, and I guess that is all that matters! I never imagined I'd be having fun with some of the pictures like this!

on the duplicates! I swear, I can't figure out how I did that with two banners last night! They were just there, even though I only hit the button once! I promise, I'm not trying to torture you!
