Tammy Romero is hosting a Plant Swap in Olympia. Got some nice plants a few years ago. Might go to see what's available and get rid of a few potted plants hanging around to clean up for winter.

The Olympia Fall Trade is set for Sept 21 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Johnson's Nursery. The address there is 7032 Spurgeon Creek Rd SE in Olympia. Depending on how many people attend, we may have to drop off and park across the street. There are 2 hoophouses that people can use to set up in for the trade. They aren't heated, but in case of rain, they are dry.

Thanks for the heads-up, Jewell. Unfortunately I won't be able to go -- it's my granddaughter's birthday and I've promised her dessert up in the Space Needle. A friend of our son's is a server up there, and last time we went, she comp'ed us this fun ice cream sunday. That got my granddaughter's attention, and is what she asked for this year.

Went this AM and was happy to get rid of a car load of plants Found some good candidates for the street strip of bed I am redoing and some natives to add to the woodland area. One house plant that needs rejuvenation. For good sized clumps of oriental lilies also found there way into my car. Fortunately I got rid of more than I got....not an easy thing to do since the selection of freebies was pretty extensive.

Good for you Jewell!! Hard to come back with less then you arrived with.
