Hi, please could I ask for recommendations for your favorites - best performing reblooming or everblooming daylilies for Zone 5 to 6.

I only grow a few daylilies here in my own Florida garden, but I plant a lot in my daughter's garden in Salt Lake City. They just moved from the nice perennial garden we had going, (yes, I took divisions!) to a newer house with, it appears, no daylilies! So next spring when I am there for the birth of my second grandchild, I will be planting daylilies for her, and need advice on what to plant.

She especially likes dark reds, pale yellow, peach and the cream or white ones. Not too keen on pink, though. We had a lot of orange in the other garden too, but she says she'd like to ease back on the orange a bit.

We had many Stella de Oro at the other house, and also one called Pandora, or was it Pandora's Box? A short-stemmed cream one with a purple throat, nice fragrance, rebloomer. When I divided after the first clump got too crowded, they never performed too well again. Strangely. We also had Ruby Stella that did not perform well at all.
Here are Lady Elizabeth, Elegant Candy, and a peach I can't remember the name of, maybe Apricot Sparkles from her garden a couple of years ago.

Thank you, Ladies. Lovely cat, Dawn!

Natalie, the first year we planted Pandora's Box it was a big, lush plant (for a dwarf, that is) and bloomed most of the summer. Then I divided it the next spring, spread around the fans and they never did anything again.

I really love Pandora's Box, and it blooms good for me, but I sure wish it would rebloom! Oh well, I'm happy with it, so it gets to stay. Now that I'm in a warmer zone, I hope I get some rebloom on lots of them!

I have had reblooms here for practically the first time, and by the way, Stella has NEVER rebloomed for me!! I just posted some on the September Blooms thread. I also have a couple of late bloomers - the most amazing this year has been After Awhile Crocodile - more pinkish than red - but it is blooming like crazy throughout the month of Seprember.

My Best In Class is a solid dark red - and has a rebloom scape, but I am not sure it will bloom again prior to frost.

Martin Blondeel is also a red, and has been reblooming for me.

Double Cherries Duet also rebloomed for me, but I missed it because the leaves of the larger ones around it obscured it - then the bunnies have eaten the next several buds. Angry ~Jan

My weather has been so extreme the last few years that the only reblooms I have seen are the instant ones. To me, those don't count. Hilarious! Might ask Fred @spunky1 or Michele @tink3472, they are hybridizers and both in Florida.
It’s okay to not know all the answers.

Thanks for the great list, Mike.

Yeah, reblooming is a whole different ball game in Florida. The challenge here is to get plants that will live through our warm winters with little or no dormancy. I have a few here that start in April and put new scapes on regularly all the way to December. Ann thinks this red one is 'Ming Toy'.

I want some that will rebloom in my daughter's garden at her new house in Utah.
