All very pretty! Buddy's Black Jack just grabbed me :nodding:

I had a much better season this year than last, but I think the drought was still having a lingering effect.

Flight of the Raven was my best performer and really surprised me with all the blooms. Unfortunately I didn't count, darn it.

Bold Heritage is one that doesn't like to open completely until the weather gets hotter, but by that time it is almost done. It never fails to put out a lot of blooms, though.

Those clump images are stunning! It can take 4 -5 years for the normally purchased single or double fans to get to clumps that size for me.

This was difficult, so many really good performing daylilies pinning down a few favorites is nearly impossible, but here are a few....

Jerry Hyatt - gets better every year and I never tire of seeing it.

Memories of Mother, early bloomer with big wide petals and sepals.

Jellyroll Morton - amazing rich, vibrant, saturated color, great plant too!

Southport - consistently sculpted cristate, fertile, good plant...everyone who sees it stops and asks about it.

Tuxedo Whiskers - a smaller flower with great color & pattern, dormant with 4 way branching.

Thanks, Char. They are probably both at least 4 years old.

I just love your picture of Jellyroll Morton!

Love ALL the pics. Vickie, I was surprised how black the eyezone was too on BLACKJACK!

TUXEDO WHISKERS has been on my wish list, I am glad that it does well for you.

Thank you Vickie.

Tuxedo Whiskers was a bonus plant with an order from the Shooters several years ago. I don't normally add dips to the garden, this one has earned a permanent spot. Never boring and always a surprise with the color and pattern changes, keeps me coming back just to see what it does each day.

I lost about 10 daylilies over this past cold wet spring. Perhaps next year I will replace it again

That's sad, Jan. I know I got a sick feeling last week when I walked by 'Wolf Eyes' and saw absolutely nothing but dirt behind the marker. I am just hoping it will come back.

FREE WHEELIN is one of my favorites! It does well for me but I would not call it a fast grower.
Any one growing BLACK PARROT?
