Joy, Rose Masterpiece looks like a really nice pink one. Jush nice form.

Angie, love the orange Mambo Maid. I grow a lot of orange and red ones and love the way they look in the garden.

Lindsey, The small light edge really sets Black Stockings off. That will be great in a clump. Don't remember where Mary Alice came from, but I'm guessing The Lily Auction. That's were a lot of mine have come from over the year. It can vary a lot in colors rom near red to rose.

Here's Chasing Shadows.

Here's my first flower ever on Amber Rhum. Relieved to see that it is AR since it came from an eBay seller I hadn't try before. Hope it gets better.

Beautiful, Lindsey and Susan. I like that Amber Rhum, too, even though it's spotched right now. I find that the FFOs sometimes are much different from the true flowers that later bloom. Do you both agree? Why is that? Is it the adjustment to the dirt and growing conditions, light, humidity, all of the above or what?

When Vampires Roar was a purchased gift to DH last year for his birthday. He had seen it at Singing Oakes when he went down to pick up plants for our local club auction and raved about it. Well, this year's FFO he vows is not the plant he saw and I'm preaching patience to see what other blooms look like. I have it clearly marked and at $60 a pop, I took extra care to mark it well! We'll see. When I have time today, IF I have time, I'll do a collage with the Singing Oakes photo and my photo for comparison. He may not be remembering it as it truly is.

Did I already post Emperor's Dragon? If not, here it is:

I've never known why some take awhile to give nice blooms. maybe too much of the enery is still going into growing leaves and roots? Other ones will open with a perfect bloom first bloom ywar after year. Here's Sudden Fire. It gets better with later blooms.
