An old mailbox in the garden keeps items close at hand, dry, and ready for use.

My property is spread out, and it seems when I get "a half mile" from the house I forgot to bring a trowel, pruners or some other tool. I will definitely use this idea; and it gives me an excuse for replacing our old mailbox. Thanks for posting.
I tip my hat to you.
