I'm hoping someone can help...I have a wild flower plot in my yard, about 800 sq ft, The other wildflowers are coming along nicely. But the crab grass and bermuda is now growing in from the sides. We are just about to mow for the 2nd time this year. Does anyone have any info on what to do about the unwanted grasses in our wildflower plot?

I try to put down cardboard and then mulch over top. I cut it to fit around the plants. Hope this helps

It is not organic solution but Ortho has Grass B Gone that kills grass and not the plants. It will work on the bermuda but not sure about crabgrass

Maybe, plant some pretty grasses, like Gulf Coast Muhly, to crowd out the crab & Bermuda grasses?

I'd go with the cardboard and mulch...perferably after weeding the worst offenders. Bermuda, however, is persistent. Just keep after it. It's an abomination!
