I ordered some seeds off of e-bay too, got no directions. Kalanchoe orgyalis , and also got Graptopetalum pentandrum, if anyone has any germinating hints, lemme know!
Sheryl,
I use those take-out containers. The ones with the black bottom and clear plastic tops. I fill it with a sandy mix with good potting soil. I then put in the microwave for about a few minuets to make sure it is free from moss or whatever. It is very hot to the touch and let set till tomorrow. Mean time, the seeds are soaking in a mix of Root-tone and warm water. Next day mix the two together. Spreading the seeds evenly and just tap into the soil but not in the soil. Cover and check every few days. This mix must not be wet but damp and after the seeds are about a month old, start to leave the lid off some. Later divide into their own pots with proper soil mix.
This is what works for me. So far on all the seeds I started.

Both of the Dioscorea Sylvatica seeds I planted came up. But the other dioscorea species have not come up yet. So I planted some more of those using the paper towel in a baggie method. I will post pics on monday. I was too lazy to take a pic before the weekend.
When the past is forgotten it is destined to be repeated.
Just got my variegated Clivia seeds in today. Soaking them tonight and planting tomorrow. It was 6 degrees at mail box with a low of 27 degrees last night. Tonight is -7 to -10 so good thing they came when they did. They were wrapped in Styrofoam sheeting many times and sealed. Hopefully they are ok. So far so good. I will post a picture with my seed thread.
Thanks Adam for getting me started. Reading yours got me inspired to do it also.
