And in the end...a happy beginning!

Those are one of my favorite vines, Damian. I grow them every year, and also have customers who request them every year. I've even been almost "blessed out" when I don't have any more plants to sell them!

I really like putting a trellis up in front of the living room windows and planting the MoonVine on. The foliage tends to block the rays of the sun during the day, keeping the house cooler, and at night when the flowers bloom their perfume often blows into the house. What a treat!

Be sure to save the seed pods that form after the flowers fade...that is your stock for next year.

Hope all is well down your way!

Is it necessary for the seed pods to be dry before collecting? My friend has several and has offered me some but they are still green and soft.

Hummingbird Moths are attracted to moonflowers. I've a neat pic thereof somewhere...

Love the moonflowers...it's so much fun to sit and watch them open.

Thank you. My friend said a couple were brown so she picked them and is keeping a close eye on the rest. I'm happy I will be able to try and grow these next year!
