Before we use to have the system messages 'button' on the upper right of the main screen, but it's been gone for a long time. Sometime I like to check previous messages and am at a lost.

I'm forced to keep at least one tab open with all the SM, but would like to have it available at all times like it used to be.

I hope I'm not asking for too much.

Is it always 'here' at ATP and I'm just not seeing it?

The i with a circle around it next to the mail button is the system message button.

The other way is to check your profile page, you can access all your previous messages, located at the bottom of your "Some info about..." box.
