One tiny grumble: the floating bar doesn't appear until I've scrolled down past the ads. Is that something that can be changed?

LOL, I just saw that I must have bumped my Pin It button so that extra text over the banner in my screenshot is not an ATP issue, in case anyone was wondering. Sticking tongue out

Woofie, if it started floating right away it would cover everything. So it has to wait until it goes down the page a bit to make sure it gets past the navigation links, white boxes, ad, etc. Then it can reappear.

Could we see how that would look?

If necessary without compromising anything else I say 'yes' (blue).

I get a bit of banner repeat on the far right too ... maybe fill it in with the same shade of pale yellow as the ATP logo?

I have to scroll up a little (above the ads) to get back to the toolbar; or else click on back to the top. It would be great to have the ads on the opposite side of the screen than the toolbar but then that may make the screen look unbalanced.

Dave I love the fade in, but the banner is pushed way to the left, causing a big repeat of the banner.

Oh. I dunno, something about this new layout makes the ads seem more intrusive. I hardly noticed them on the old layout. Maybe I just pay more attention to the left side of the page.

You're right, Lynn. Sigh. This is the same issue I had last night and I did it again today!! Sticking tongue out

This is now fixed again and nobody should be seeing repeats unless their browser is extremely wide.

woofie: I didn't really notice them as much before either but I think (with me) it may just be the newness of the page layout.

I'm now seeing my toolbar on the left and no ads (just checked and they are up farther) so it's my scrolling that's the problem, once I get past the ads they toolbar is there.

Thank you all for beta testing this for me. Thanks to all your reports we ended up with a fairly stable layout and it's been launched site wide.

Let's continue this discussion in the new thread I created for everyone:
