OK, I'm totally sick of winter and want to see FLOWERS! So hopefully some or all of us will share pictures of our ten favorites from 2010, and I'll start. I just really got into daylilies in 2010 and purchased over 150 -- and I haven't seen flowers yet on probably 95% of them, so my collection to pick from was limited and almost exclusively spiders. But here we go, and somewhat in order of preference.

MUCH ADO ABOUT MAGIC and FREE WHEELIN'

MOANA GLORIA MAY and NORTH WIND DANCER

MAXFIELD PARRISH and WEB BROWSER

SPIDER MIRACLE and OCTOPUS HUGS

Those are all great but Much Ado About Magic is beautiful. It seems to have a very unique ruffle.

Yes, that was my absolute favorite and I purchased it in the spring of 2010. I think it is a truly exquisite flower and can't wait for it to bloom again this year!

Do you have your top 10 you could share? Would really love to see them!

Stephanie, just keep adding images one after, your upload button changes to "Add Another Photo" You can even make 2-3 images in row. I always hit the preview button first to see how the images and words line up and from there you can move things around to fix them before actually submitting the post.

Your image links start and end with the word 'lightbox' between the brackets. To put images side by side, you just put the two or three links side by side. Since they automatically load with the links stacked on top of each other, you just put your mouse curser at the very end of the first image bracket and delete the space and it will pop up the second and third image links right next to each other.

None of these are my images, these are plants I won on the Lily Auction and they will arrive in the next couple of months.

Great daylilies gals! Kim, I really loveyour dark ones -- especially BROOKWOOD BLACK KITTEN and NIGHT EMBERS. Are they a DEEP dark burgundy or do they actually appear black when you look at them? I just ordered EVENING SPARKLE to try out a near black, and I bet it will burn easily, but I just had to try one. And Stephanie, you've shown ONE WAY HOME before and I think it is absolutely beautiful! And BILL WATSON TOO and GRECIAN GOWN look fantastic. I also have SPACECOAST TINY PERFECTION and I hope I will see blooms this summer. It looks really wonderful.

The way you get all the pictures together is to upload one, and then it will say something like "upload another image", so you upload a second one. And if you want them side-by-side you place your cursor just before the beginning of the last one and hit the delete key until it moves it up right next to the previous one, with no space between them. The second one will spill over onto the next line, but don't worry about it. Then hit the return key two or three times to go to the next place you either want to write something or upload another picture. And you can hit the "Preview" button as you go along to make sure it's doing what you want. Then when you finally get it the way you want it, hit "Finished" -- and voila!

Sue, I love your new daylilies! KIMBERLY WOLF looks nice and bright, and SPACECOAST SMALL TALK looks fantastic! Is it a small flower? I'm working on a collection of the small ones and plan to order SPACECOAST COLOR SCHEME from Bill Maryott when he finishes updating his website.

And I see my lenthy directions were totally unnecessary -- as usual! Rolling on the floor laughing

My favorite registered would be hands down Hansen "s Hi Ho Silver, rebloom was excellant , this is one that looked exactly like the picture on the website where I bought it when it bloomed.
Little more than ten but I like some of the seedlings even more then the registered ones. Favorites based on appeal ( to my eye), bloom, hardiness.

Wwaaaahhhhhh!

I can't post any because my computer is dead. New one should be here next week. I am posting from an iPad, but cannot post photos with it!

Stephanie, your Spacecoast Tiny Perfection looks like a totally different plant than mine does.

Here is mine from another "favorites" thread....

Wonderful pics everyone Thumbs up I'm drooling all over them Drooling .

Betty, That shot of Brookwood Black kitten was actually taken later in the day in full sun. It is slightly darker in the early am, but not by much. Night embers is really that deep burgundy color. It is fab and I'm not into doubles at all, but I love this one. It's pod fertile too.

Kathy, those seedlings are great I really like the Miss Elaine one - just fab Thumbs up

Sue, I just love how Kimberly Wolf looks. Can't wait to see your pics this summer! You will love Spacecoast Small talk. It is a good rebloomer and increases well, fertile both ways too. Heres a shot of mine last year:Thumb of 2011-02-22/kimkats/82abc8

Oh Wow, Kim, that is a beaut! Mine probably won't have as much edge, we don't have the humidity and warm nights and often ours look much 'tamer' for lack of a better word!

I am so ready for bloom season! Hurray!
