I'm just now seeing this, Sharon, and I LOVE all the color in your photos!
Right now, color has all but disappeared from my Western New York window. Still a little red on some of the beautiful burning bushes, and the old, spent hostas etc. are still providing some yellow (even though they are just laying splat on the ground). The remaining, stubborn dogwood leaves that are hanging on for dear life are yellow, but other than the tenacity I feel coming from them (I can almost see them gritting their teeth!), they are rather pitiful and make me feel sad.
Fortunately for me, I do love the cold, snowy New York State winters. We had a short burst of snow falling from the clouds the other day, but not enough to turn the grass white. That day won't be far off. It just keeps getting colder and colder.
Thanks for the breath of color you have provided for my morning!
