Thank you everyone because I now feel there is enough information for me to finally learn to do a 'screen shot'.

Just so you know how I have been surviving without this knowledge (and something that makes my daughter giggle) -
I keep my digital camera handy, take a photo of the screen, quickly upload the picture to my computer, edit, then upload to the site where the 'screen shot' is needed. Well...it worked for me! *Blush*

I will study this thread so I can learn to do it properly over the weekend.

Hey, greene, that's the same thing I used to do! Don't feel silly about it!
Confidence is that feeling you have right before you do something really stupid.

I think you guys were very creative to use a camera for a screen shot! I don't know how to do one either and I suppose I should muddle my way through, and then make some cheat notes because I will undoubtedly forget it immediately (if not sooner).
I want to live in a world where the chicken can cross the road without its motives being questioned.

Greene, not many years ago, we did the same thing to take a screen shot of oscilloscopes. Multi-thousand-dollar oscilloscopes, with expensive hoods attached, so you could clamp a camera in place and keep the screen in darkness so you could take a picture.

I think that was before digital cameras, so you STILL couldn't load it into a computer unless you had an optical scanner.
