I have a few, but I don't think they compare with the beauties I've seen above. Oh well...

ART GALLERY IRIDESCENCE - In shade and later in sunshine (Not very impressed with this one so far.)

Very nice Betty. I like Long Stocking and Spacecoast Small Talk is a nice orange. I have a few that I am not at all impressed with either!!! They may have to leave to make room for better ones.

Yes, Velvet Shadows is small. It's registered at 2.75". I like your little ones. Love the coloring on Katherine Caldwell.

Definitely looking better than the FFO which was rained on. I also forgot to take the picture with the Macro setting. It is a new camera and I am still learning the ropes! This was taken 5.13.11

Thanks. You are right, they would look good together. There may be some rearranging in my future when things stop blooming.

However, this may not be the time they normally bloom once they settle in. They are both new and the first season blooms are often mixed up for blooming times. We shall see.

It is interesting to compare published bloom season with what happens in your garden. The first flower to open in my garden was Belle Isle Sentry which is listed as a EM. None of my EE's have bloomed yet, although I do have scapes on some. Go figure.

I have a few, although it's overcast and cool today (very unusual for Bakersfield in May -- hope this doesn't mean it's going to compound itself as it works its way across the country), so some of the blooms aren't as open as I like, especially SNOW CRYSTAL.
