Really cool looking but after looking at these pics twice, I don't get it. Where are the roots? Are there some holes in the wood?

Not wood but thru the sphagnum moss that's under the wire frame .

looks beautiful. In warmer zones, one could just throw it on the ground and let nature take it's course. Then next year do the same and so on.

Thanks, Bev! It really looks like wood. Wonder how they got the moss to be so neat, not sticking out of the holes like hair? Don't recall seeing any other 'planters' with more plants per sq inch. They look really cool packed tight-together like that, so much color from just leaves.

Yes, you start them laying down first. I've tried these before and it wasn't hard to put together-- but I ended up needing to water them a ton and I didn't have a good way to really do that, so I ended up replanting the semps elsewhere. Seeing them again, though, makes me want to retry lol!

I like the colors in the Tender Succulent Wreaths.

I started one for a friend a couple years ago because she wanted one she could hang on her door through the winter.

This is the one I started and my Garden Cat. He was always directing the planting. I miss that cat. I was caring for him until he could be adopted.

Very cool! If I ever get gumption, or a round tuit, I've got inspiration in spades from these pics and info. Thinking C/S plants will go till spring before any further disturbances (on purpose, whooo am I clumsy!) but I'm very impulsive, especially when ideas are undone.
