I love it! And I love the name too! Do you know yet whether it's a Dormant or a Semi-Evergreen -- or even an Evergreen? I always focus on the toothy ones, but I need to get away from Dormants and into the SEV's if possible. And are both those flowers on the same branch?

OMG- you don't think this is ugly? LOL! I was thinking as I took the picture "This flower looks like I FEEL somedays."

Both of them opened on top of the scape at once. I was kind of wishing it would have just opened one. I'll try to get a picture when just one is open.

It's a hard dormant- a cross between Lemon Fringed Pastel X Forestlake Ragamuffin.

Amazing -- I've got a bloom of LEMON FRINGED PASTEL open today and I just put some ALIEN FORCE pollen on it (since that's the only pollen I have at the moment that I know is still viable). This is my first year of trying some crosses, and I'm just playing to see what I get. And I must tell you that I know practically nothing about daylilies, so if there are major flaws they went right over my head. But I can tell you what I do like, starting with that subtle eye or darker orange banding around the petals, which shades to yellow. I always love those subtle eye areas. And I like the orange stamens which really go with that color scheme. Plus it looks like it's a subtle bitone, which I always love! And yes, I would love to see a picture of just one open bloom, as it does look sort of chaotic with two open together. But I really like it!!!

Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It's got good branching, and think it would have a better budcount if it wasn't so crowded in with it's siblings. Maybe I'll pull it and evaluate it for a year or so.

I agree! I like it -- it looks like a siamese twin daylily! I agree
