I can't tell you how many times the wind blew off my porch some pot full of plants. Don't throw those pots away. I always glue mine back together. I use 'Gorilla Glue'. The brown bottle stuff. Dries like expanding foam, but really hard. It likes water so you don't have to dry your pots before glueing. Cut excess glue off the next day or it will be very hard to do afterwards. Almost anything that breaks, I use this stuff.
And don't get any on your hands. It takes a long time to wash off.

Gluie tufa...a brand new thing! haha I like the idea of just making a pot out of wire and gorilla glue! (Calin, not sure if you have gorilla glue) the stuff I have dries yellow, and triples in size as it dries - so you have to be careful where and how you use it!
But like Stush said - it is waterproof!
