anyone ever ordered roses from stark bros nursery and if so what did you think? I ordered 4 knock out double yellow roses. They will be pretty small but I know they grow fast so I thought with some pampering they would suit me. I could not find the yellow ones anywhere else.

I haven't heard of the Knock Out double yellow rose, and it isn't listed on helpmefind.com. The only yellow listed there is Sunny Knock Out, which has a single bloom.

As for Stark Brothers in general, I ordered a couple of fruit trees years ago and was pleased with the trees they sent me. I've never ordered roses from them.

Stark sells excellent fruit trees, but I've never ordered roses from them. Did you order Sunny Knock Out? It's a single bloom, not double. I love that rose. I am not familiar with the double yellow rose that they are offering this year. It's hybridized by Meilland, which isn't bad, but the Knock Outs come from Radler.
To me, a hedge of Sunny Knock Out in bloom looks like a swarm of butterflies or golden finches. The yellow fades to lighter yellow, then white. It's not a bloom to bring in to a vase, but beautiful mixed in a bed with grasses and wildflowers.
Lovey dubby

Yes it is the sunny knock out, sorry about the confusion. I know it is not a double, so I guess I confused myself lol
It does look like it has more than a single layer of petals though, my MIL has one of these and it has a little bit of a fuller look than just a single.
Anyway I ordered four of them and I am supposed to get them this week!
