Curt was one of the people who really got me interested in daylilies in a big way - I actually met him through witchazels. I just love his intros - talk about thinking outside the box!

I will come back periodically and add more images here... but wanted to get this going!

One of my current favorites is Agean Wind. It has the most beautiful color, and is a large bloom.

Zegunruhe is one I never hear anyone talk about. It is a lovely thing, great grower, and makes a very showy clump.

Kissed Off is another I never hear mentioned, but one of my very favorites. It is not a tall plant, but makes a wonderful clump. Superb branching. A lovely rose red self, with a screaming green throat.

Curt's plants are some of the best here in my Vermont garden. Hardy, great branching, budcount and distinctive, a major factor in my purchases. This is his Glass Bead Game.

Tall Blonde - I just love it, but I don't have it (yet). My cousin, the sister I never had, bought it in 2008, so I will hopefully get a fan or two soon!

I spoke to Curt a few days ago, and the catalog for this year should be at the printers by now. When the catalog is mailed, they will be working on getting his website up and running - finally!

Beautiful pics Lisa! Love or Else grew here for many, many years!

Here is another that I love.... Allison's Wedding. It consistently has the highest bud count in my garden. I have it planted in front of a Japanese Nine Bark. The dark foliage of the ninebark shows off the light pink blooms very well.

Love Curt's daylilies. Strong artsy colors. Good plant habits.

Zughanrue (or however it is spelled) is one of my favorites. Never takes the best pic as a single flower but wowsie what color! Luckily it never blooms just one blossom.

I highly recommend it.

Here's another favorite

SKYHOOKS - enough with all those ruffles, edges and fancy stuff. This one is smooth!

Looks like 'Love Comes Quickly' must get to my home!!! Guess I'll put that on my trade request.

Another top daylily of Curt's is Joan Derifield. Strong rose cerise color. Lg showy flower. This should become a stout contender!

Newsflash!!!

I heard that Curt's catalog was passed out at the Region 2 meeting over the weekend. That means that those of you on his mailing list will be getting the catalog soon! Thumbs up

I miss doing his catalog for him. I loved doing it, but it was to time consuming when I was working.

I am not sure he is going to update his website for a while though. Crying
