I've never bought from this place, and won't be buying now because of the time of year, but if any of you are looking for older ones, you can't beat this sale! 10 fans for $10, or 25 fans for $20! They have newer ones too, but I didn't look.

Sorry for the delayed response. I have purchased from them before. When I first started with daylilies I got a bunch of double fans for $5.00 each and they did real nice.
Newer ones seem to disappear fast, not a good supply usually. The only one I saw that I liked I found on LA for a cheaper price. I got a lot of the newer ones off the LA at a fraction of the original price. Yes, they are mostly single fans, but from sellers I know and they are very big. Green Grin!

When Smokey's first started selling about 3 to 4 years ago I did hear a lot of complaints on DG of getting the wrong plants. I don't know if they resolved their issues or not.

I'm not planning on buying anything from them. I just remembered that a few people were looking for particular older ones, and thought this might be a good place to get them from. If you are just looking for garden plants, the prices are fantastic, especially for large clumps. But, I'm not looking for garden plants at this point.

I live ten minutes from them and I have never bought from them and will never buy.

I have visited them with a garden group, and I saw many plants that were mislabeled.
They do not update and they are trying to liquidate.

I received some mislabeled lilies from them so I don't order from them any longer.

Crying I added all of them to the database. I had no idea I had anything to worry about. I saw no complaints on DG, so I guess I just got lucky. They were all true to name.
I already decided not to order anymore because the plants are not good cultivars, I thought they were beautiful but kinda boring. I like big ruffles and higher bud counts. Lovey dubby

The newer daylily I was looking for was 'Big Red Wagon', FC was out and Smokies had a DF for 79.95. Something told me not to risk it. I settled for a single fan from LA.

(Yes, I did look!! Whistling )
