Thanks. No, I haven't figgured out the resizing yet, These picture are ones I had from July and the last part of June. They uploaded the slow way. But I had work to do and spent about two hours working on the computer last evening. IN between working I was loading these pictures in another window so it wasn't as annoying as I wasn't actually waiting for each picture to load, just going back after awhile of doing something else. But when I found this thread, I had to add my Emmerich intros

Rita, we would LOVE it if you would consider adding your pictures to the Daylily Database. It's still over in the Daylily Cubit, but maybe someday Dave will move the database over here and then it will probably work like the one over in the first website he created.

I doubt I will ever find the time.

With regards to resizing pics --

if you are using a PC (not a mac) and it has MS Office loaded usually it comes with an app called Microsoft Office Picture Maker... if you open your photo with this and click on edit pictures, then click on compress pictures, then you can chose what size you want to edit it to...if I select documents I can edit a 3.4 mb pic to 481 kb -- takes milliseconds to upload then!

Thanks. Still to confusing for me I think I have figgured it out my way. I have pictures in the camera that I will download and then change them as saved from full size and that should do it I hope.

Hybridizers pictures are nice but I love to see if they can still look good in a real garden!
