I'm only seeing a shortened list on my vague searches in the daylily database. If I search for "red" (used in many daylily names) it only returns "red ace" through "red beans and rice" (only "red" + "a___" through "red" + "b___"), with no result, for instance, that includes the cultivar "red radiance". (This is also true on other DL DB searches, such as for "little," only showing results through "little" + "b___.)

Searching with other general words in the DL DB, I might see more alphabetical range. However, the search result may still be missing some data. Looking for "small" produces a range of second-word options from "small alex" through "small ways" - but it still misses returning the cluster of cultivars beginning with "small world."

Also, possibly some of the thumbnail linking is missing for the DL DB searches? I think I'm used to seeing a DL thumbnail (where a plant photo is available on the linked view page) in the list of returned items in a search, as is seen in a general all-plant DB search. For all of the sample searches above in the DL DB there are no thumbnails shown, only a list, though some or many of the returned results are links to daylily view pages that have photos of the flower.

I imagine @dave is likely working on all this as part of a programming run, but thought to mention it just to log an alert. Thumbs up
