PDC, Permaculture Design Courses have gotten a lot of negative criticism. And sometimes they haven't been taught by the best representatives of permaculture. Geoff Lawton's course on the other hand probably cannot receive that criticism, since Geoff --along with Bill Mollison -- invented the concept of Permaculture.

So, an on-line course with the master has got to be a good thing. Read more here, at PRI:

I own the DVD of the PDC Geoff Lawton and Bill Mollison did and found it really informative. I've gone to a few permaculture conferences and found I learned pretty much the same amount watching the DVDs and other online videos (though nothing can too spending a few days with other permies). If my pocketbook would let me I would love to do the online course. Thanks for the link

As for me, Id just as soon skip the social and traveling part and do the learning by books and DVDs at home.

Good to see a few permies here at ATP. Beautiful family.
