Have now recieved the paperwork on the last two 2011 intros. All six have been lined out for a couple of weeks and all are alive and well. I always worry when lining out in the heat because of rot. So far so good. The ones that had to be cut I used baby power on them to prevent crown rot. I tried this for the first time last year because Karol Emmerich told me this was what she did, and it worked for me. You don't have to let them dry, I think the power draws the moisture from the cut. I am not telling you to do this, if what your doing works then continue, this is what works for me.

Nothing so far has worked for me. Im gunna try it. Im also going to try some old messenger that I have, Im starting to pick up that some of the things people are using have harpin in it. At the fall regional, we also got our order in with another club for some K-5.

Do you use the baby powder with or without talc.

Now-a-days Johnsons makes one with blue writing instead of the traditional pink. It is cornstartch based, Im going with the good ole original.

For years I have used Comet on cut daylily root/crowns. Supposed to be the chlorine in the cleanser keeps the rot away. I don't use it in the house, but I have it in my garden "stuff" area of my garage.
