Cindy,
I think I am finally going to Nicoles this weekend. Wait...its the fall regional and our club is hosting, maybe I will see her there, if not, trying to make it over sunday. A day late and a dollar short I know, but I would like to know which of hers tolerate the cold too , if any.

Pam, if you get a chance to talk to Nicole, ask her if there are any of hers that do well in the north. I would love to have some of hers but with the cost, I would hate to loose them.

I have an email off to Her about that very thing. I sure hope some do well up north. Maybe some of the ones I have, and I can share.

I have a couple of Nicole's daylilies & they seem to do fine here in zone 4. I have Fire Coral, from our own Spunky. Also, Hopelessly Devoted. They are not the fastest multipliers, but then again, our growing season is VERY short.

OK, yes, my plants are turning out to be very Northern Hardy, every
year I ship my intros to Canada, Michigain, Iowa, places like that!
And have been hearing great feedback about all of the plants!

Hope this helps!

Nicole

This is what nicole wrote back, I will be glad to share in the spring, Cindy, shoot, if it wasnt too late to plant, ive got some of hers that arrived yesterday ( 14 fans in ONE clump...o yea baby, gotta love that summer sale), I could send some along. If not, I will send them the first you can take in the spring.

Im thinking about putting it right in the ground with the 14 Hurray! fan clump from Nicole.
Got my Maryotts order to plant and after my Judy Davvison order comes next week, THATS IT. We have the fall regional this weekend, so there comes some more. Things just got away from me.

I had ordered Nicoles fall 2010s and spring 2011s and recieved almost half of them yesterday. Some of the best looking plants I have recieved in a long time. Five 2011s and four fall 2010s. The other box (10 plants) is hung up somewhere and today being a holliday, want know nothing until tomorrow, which will be six days since they were dug. Gotta love our postal service.

Fred, I had a box take 12 days to reach PA this summer. It would get to PA and then it would be sent back to Nashville, then sent back to PA; back and forth. Turns out that the scanner in a small town of PA did not read the postal service label correctly and was picking up my return address label. It was very frustrating for the recipient and for me. I hope they are ok when you get them. I have ordered a couple from Nicole for spring delivery.

Got the other box today and they really look good for being on the road six days. She had wraped each one in wet newspaper and it was still damp when I opened the box. All are now snuggled in there bed and growing.
